Since September 30 till October 3, 2013 a group of 12 young and senior scientists from IMBG NAS Ukraine had participated in the Course on Research Integrity and Responsible Conduct of Research. The Course was organized in the framework of the COMBIOM EU FP7 and hosted by the International Institute of Molecular and Cell Biology (Warsaw, Poland). All theoretical and practical parts were guided by an expert, Prof. Nils Axelsen, Ombudsman for Research Integrity at Staten’s Serum Institute in Copenhagen and the co-founder of the Danish Committees on Scientific Dishonesty. The Course was rather demanding for participants and required a great deal of homework and before and during the Course. Hence, all participants had presented most of the topics which covers the main aspects of Research Misconduct, Research Integrity, and Responsible Conduct Research. The course also includes interactive play, studies of different cases and discussion section. Senior staffs of the IIMBC, including the director, professor Kuznicki, are also participated as discussants in some of the sessions.
